Graduate business certifications are an ideal option for individuals seeking specialized knowledge and core competency within a specific area of business.
Certificate programs provide support for career enhancement or transition and are pursued with a highly manageable program format. Each program requires 12-15 credit hours of study and is completed on a part-time basis.
Kogod graduate certificate programs include:
Graduate Certificate Admissions
Admission to a Graduate Certificate program is offered in the fall and spring terms. Decisions are made on a rolling basis. Due to the part-time format of certificate study, applicants who require F-1 or J-1 student visa sponsorship are not eligible to apply for admission.
Applicability to MS Degree Programs
Up to 12 certificate credits, earned within the minimum academic guidelines, may be applied to a Kogod graduate degree.
In order to apply certificate credits to a degree program, students must apply for and receive admission to one of the MS programs within two years of completing the graduate business certificate. Applicants must meet all of the admissions requirements for the selected degree program and should review the Graduate Application Guide for further information.
Additionally, students currently enrolled in a Kogod MBA or MS program may add a certificate designation by speaking with their academic advisor. Interested students should schedule an appointment to discuss the benefits and feasibility of doing so with their academic advisor.
